Ladies and Gentlemen,
As we begin to get serious about our training relative to distance, I thought it necessary to remind people to take care of your feet. One of my biggest problems last year was the agony my feet endured throughout the training. Now of course I do carry around a significant amount of poundage, but proper running shoes, regardless of size, can enhance training and prevent injuries. Don't take my word, ask any returning raptor or better yet read my new article on the Importance of Proper Running Shoes in the Coach's Corner. I know it can be expensive, but I promise on mile 8 you will be glad you made the investment.
